What"s the name of the song playing at 1:16. Depp"s causal body language, style and dialogue delivery perfectly suits for this character, not feel bored even seen many times this movie. It"s absolutely pitiful how the FBI had to resort using Anna Sage to lead them to John so they could ambush him! WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! I do like the very last scene where Charles Winstead visits Billie in jail to pass on his goodbye to her; nice touch. Loved this movie. Am I the only person that thinks this movie was terrible? Flat script and characters, bad cinematography the only thing that was good were the action scenes and the acting and both of those were slightly above mediocre at best. Serioslu just watch the movie dillinger from the 70"s, its so much better.
Am I the only one who hates Christian Bale? He plays only one character. Ennemis Publics Watch. It"s true that John Dillinger enjoyed taking photographs of police officers when the opportunity presented itself, and even late in his career he would often attend Cubs games and frequent bars in Chicago, but he probably didn"t enter the offices of the Dillinger Squad, as depicted in the film. Dillinger also tended to brag about his exploits. As with many other events in his life, he would have surely related such a fantastic thing to his family, his lawyer, or his lawyer"s investigator, Art O"Leary, a man Dillinger often confided in. However, according to Bryan Burrough"s book, he did enter the same building as the Chicago police department on a few occasions, and he did accompany Polly Hamilton into the building to get her waitress"s license.

Second best gangster movie to Bonnie and Clyde. A nod to Warren Oates, tho. 7:25 - when I saw this movie in the theatre here in Australia, the sound quality was incredible. When Winstead fired that 10 gauge at Dillinger, the whole crowd jumped in their seats from the sound of the boom. Very impressive scene.

This movie needed to be shot on film and not digitally. Im really sad michael mann jumped ships after Heat. Just imagine if you and your girl is going at it with this piece playing in the background and she looks back at you with the same intent as Johnny Depp @ 3:55 lol.

Ennemis Publics Watch stream new albums. Acting: Marion Cotillard was surprisingly good, even though I never liked any of her performances(she was godawful in The Dark Knight Rises. Christian Bale was surprisingly bland, even though I loved his every other performance(he was fantastic in The Dark Knight Rises. Johnny Depp was quite alright. 7 /10
Direction and cinematography: Fine. 7/10
Soundtrack: Very boring. 3/10
Plot: Repetitive. And even though there were many action scenes, the movie was boring. I checked my watches every few minutes. The ending was fine, except for the very last scene, that was not believable at all. 5/10
Overall: Michael Mann didn"t even try to come close to Heat in terms of quality. The script wasn"t great, the romantic scenes were awkward, but the scene where Dillinger is escaping his second prison, that was very good. 6/10
Best scene: The second prison break.

I only got to watch it a few days ago, almost a decade after release. And holy hell is it good. What did he say as he was lying on the sidewalk dying? Something about "Blackbird" The real John Dillinger"s niece and nephew said he didn"t die that night - they shot the wrong man and covered up their mistake. Check the story out. I think the body was exhumed to test the theory.

I watched this for Samara Weaving, one of today"s finest young actresses but I was intrigued for most of the movie. Very well cast film also features the beautiful actress who was on Mr Robot, too. She"s a standout and steals every scene she"s in. I would call this a dramatic mystery. It"s not really scary but interesting. I also liked and appreciated the ending very much! I would recommend it to people to give it a go.
